My grandparents were William and Lorraine Tjepkes and my great grandparents were George and Annie Tjepkes. We still live on the century farm and my father continues to farm part of it. I will be working as a Speech-Language Pathologist in St. Paul. Please tell me more about yourself and your lineage.

I am looking for long lost relatives. My granfather died 24 yrs ago. He didnt leave my family with very much info. The only thing is he changed the spelling of his last name cause it was hard to pronounce and spell. So he changed the spelling to Tejack which is pronounced like it is spelled. I cant figure out how else it would be spelled. His name was Erwin Tejack. We live here in Illinois , up in Chicagoland areas. He lived most of life the Chicagoland area im not sure of exact town cause I was so young. He married my Grandmother her name was Virginia. They had a Daughter Pamela, Bonnie, Loretta, Dennis, Janice, and one they put up for adoption named Gary which Im not sure who might know about that. If anyone could help me going with this or how it might be spelled originally with that sound to it. But are family was born and raised here no one knows where to find any relatives. Who knows it might be any of you. I know sometimes the tj is sounding like t-i sometimes or t-e Please someone help no one in our family has a clue any help would be appreciated. I know he was born in Like 1905 around in there.

My grandfather was Martin Tjepkes, his father was Jacob Tjepkes and Jacob's father was Marten Tjepkes. Does anyone know if we are related or have any information about my family. All I know is that we immigrated to America in the latter 1800's from Germany. I know I have a lot of extended family in Iowa, my immediate Tjepkes relatives are mostly in Minnesota.
