I suspect from the location that Sarah Jane was a granddaughter of John D. TIVIS & America CHURCH. I'll get back to them. :-)

Notice that the TIVIS couple married in 1824, and there are mostly children of twelve and under in 1850, so several children must have already moved/married. There could have been a son born before and after John W.--ca. 1825 & 1829, old enough to have had a daughter in 1852/3.

Byard was later listed as Hamilton B. or B. Hamilton. Hamilton m. 7 Apr. 1864, Fulton Co., IL, Cemantha OLIVER [Samantha]. In 1880, they were of Monroe, Hamilton, NE.
