Mary's address is:
Mary M. Bell
2944 Greenwood Acres Drive
DeKalb, IL 60115
I forgot the cost of the book - I ordered several for various members of my family. My grandfather was Lycurgus Tevis, son of Hebrew and I have a lot of geneology. I have been to Snowden & Susan's grave at their family farm and to Hebrew & Eliza's grave at Bethlehem Cem., Saline county, MO. Would be happy to exchange information.

I ordered 2 books about a year ago and I think at that time she was just about out and I don't know if she was going to have a second printing. She is in the process of writing a second book on the Tevis' - I need to write to her and see if she has it finished

Snoden Tevis was my great-great grandfather, Hebrew was my great grandfather and Lewis Lycurgis was my grandfather Materal. My grandfather died in 26 and I was born in 27 so I never knew him. He was 40 and my grandmother 20 at the time of their marriage. I have letters written by her to him before they were married. I have pictures taken at Snoden's grave at Tipton, MO - my husband was trying to dig his tombstone out of the dirt. John Tevis, a 3rd cousin, was wanting to have a gravestone set up in a local cemetery where a lot of family members are buried but I can't really see any sense in that. Hebrew and wife are buried in a cemetery about 15 miles north of Sedalia, MO where I have lived for almost 82 years.
I am going to write to Mary Bell and see about her second book on the Tevis'. I sent her a Christmas card but I don't think I received one from her - I don't know she's getting up there in years too.
