Does anyone have any information about Louise Tisch - her parentage. She was my great grandmother. She married Mathias Wirth, they lived in Manitowac, WI. Mathias served in the Norhern army in the Civil War. Hints about sources are welcome - I am new to this.

There is a Louise C. S. Tisch (geboren/born?) Quistorf) buried in Mishicot, WI. Gestorben (died?) 23 Sept, 1871. There are about a dozen Tisch's buried in the small cemetary, including Joseph Tisch (3 Feb 1800-10 Feb 1880, and wife Christina (1 April 1806-31 July 1866) that could possibly be the parents. Mishicot is near Tisch Mills, WI. Good Luck!

I also am researching Tisch from Bavaria (Bavern). Phillipp b. 1819 came out to NZ and I know he had a Magdalena and Christina as siblings but could be more. These sisters also came out to NZ. What dates do you have? thanks Barbara
