I am seeking information on Emeline Tircuit who was married to Eugene Oubre of Morganza, La. Their daughter, Isabella (Belle) Oubre is my great-grandmother. Any info on this family would be greatly appreciated.

My gg-grandfather was Ernest Tircuit m. Justina Rome, they had Clement Tircuit.

Clement m. Hilda Richard, they had Albert Clement Sr. and Ernest Thomas Sr.

Albert Sr. m. Athena Schmiedeberg, they had Albert Jr. and Dennis Rudolph.

Ernest Sr. m. Marion Belaci, they had Ernest Jr. and Jerry.

Albert Jr. is my father. My grandfather was raised in New Orleans, then moved to Galveston, Tx. I think Ernest and Justina might have been from St. James Parish. I have some info on other Tircuit families but, haven't connected them to mine yet.

Angie -
I have a list of Tircuits from 1770 - 1889, births, deaths, marriages. These are the church records. I also have some Richards. I cannot find any of your Tircuits nor your Richard on the list. There is a Justina Rome who was a sponsor at the baptismal of Marie Clotilde Tircuit, child of Charles Tircuit and Metella Leblanc, born Sept. 16, 1886. Also, there is a Clement Tircuit married to Ophelia Arcenaux. Clement Tircuit is sponsor at baptismal of Marie Leonie Tircuit, child of Marcellin Tircuit and Irma Rils, born Nov. 15, 1882. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Good luck with your search.

I'm trying to get any information about Estella Tircuit (my g-g-grandmother). You said you have a list of Tircuits from church reords, so I was wondering if this name showed up anywhere. She married Desire Braud, Jr on 2-10-1890. Please contact me if you can find anything. Thanks! Etoilebleu6@cs.com.

In Vol. 17, I found Anne Estella Tircuit, born 6/24/1878, baptized 7/3/1878, daughter of Octave Tircuit and Attala LeBlanc. Would this be the Estella Tircuit you are researching? Octave would be the son of Eugene Tircuit and Aurora McDaniel, and Attala LeBlanc the daughter of Numa LeBlanc and Justina Oubre.
The Baton Rouge Church Records end in 1889, so I didn't see an entry for a marriage. If this is the person you are researching, let me know, because I can probably give you info on her siblings and parents.

I don't think that's her. She was most probably from St James Parish, La. If that was her birthday, she would have been married at 12 years old. Are those records only from Baton Rouge?
Thanks a lot though!!
