Amelia - does that ring a bell on anyone's family tree? Is this a family name or what? William Tipp, her father, was a UEL so maybe whas disowned by the family. My gran always said they were Pennsylvania Deutch. Bells, anyone? Please?

I come down through Nancy Tipp, w/o Robert Oliver, d/o William C. Tipp. I have made some contact with other Oliver relatives that gave me John Tipp's family but don't have anything further back than that. Who are you from? And, by the way, thanks for getting in touch with me.

I had always been lead to believe that our family was Pennsylvania Dutch (what ever that means) I have come to learn that the orgins of my family was in Hanover Germany or Prussia. This seems to be a common link to the TIPP FAMLIES worldwide. At some point we need to check out some of the German records somehow.
