It appears that my Isaac was born in Ga. abt. 1828. I don't know who his father and mother are. He had atleast three brothers. Elbert, James and Eddie. Isaac married Virginia Ethridge abt. 1850 in Ga. then moved to Alabama where his children were born. Isaac was executed for desertion abt. 1864 in Mt. Meigs Alabama for returning home to check on his family as they were living near the battle grounds. Isaac and Virginia Lived in Tallapoosa County Ala. and then to Birmingham then to Montgomery County where Isaac served in the war. Isaac was of Irish descent. Their children were, Georgia, she died at the age of 10, Joseph Swift, Elbert Larkin and James Tinney.. Virginia left Alabama about 1897 and traveled to Arizona to live with one of her sons that lived there. Probably James..She died and was buried in the southern end of the Cornudas mountains bordering on the Texas/New Mexico line. If this story sounds familiar to any you...I would love to talk to you...
