I have a letter from George Tinney dated 5-23-1918 from Gillett, Ark
Addressed to J.H. Tinney Long, Okla
The letter reads: Dear Brother I will write you a few lines to let you know that I am still alive and well and hope you are all well. I got here on the 20th from Hotsprings. It goes on to say....I heard that babs/bobs baby was dead and I want to know if it is so........I don't know how long I will be here I belong to the secret service business and when they order me to go I go. Tell me how our 2 sisters is getting along if you know anything about N.F. Tinney. I will close answer soon. from your brother George Tinney.
