Our ancestor, Andrew Jackson Tinker/Tanker was born about 1833. Different records list his place of birth as NY, NJ, & MD. He grew up in Coshocton and Putnam Counties in Ohio, with Doctor George Parke and wife, Maria. We don't know Maria's maiden name and aren't sure if she's Andrew's mother. After the Doctor's death in 1864, Maria married George Miller of Ottawa, OH. In 1865, Andrew married Elizabeth Wyant and went by the name Andrew Jackson Parks. Does anyone have an Andrew Jackson Tinker in their family tree? My husband took a DNA test, and did not match the Parke/Parks family line, but he did match a Tinker! We'd love to know where we fit in. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
