The only dates I have are that Annie (Tiffin) Snary and her husband Henry were at the marriage of their dau. Mary Ann age 18 to Zacheus "Zeke" Paul age 22 from Dawn at Mr. Bakie Hotel, Camden Township, Kent Co., Ontario on 18 Sep 1872 and the religion was Wesleyan Methodist. Another witness was Rufus S. Carscallen of Dresden. Other Children of Annie and Henry are: Kate, John, Rose, Sarah, Walter, Victoria and Richard. No other information on Annie Tiffin

Hi, I am not the original poster, but I have an Anna Tiffin, daughter of Thomas Tiffin and Elizabeth Butler, probably born in the early 1830s on my tree. I am descended from a sibling of hers. I would be interested in more details about the family if you have them.

I would be very interested in on about Eliza (Butler) Tiffin, and her siblings. Eliza would be my great-great-grandmother. I know nothing about her parents. Was Mary Ann Butler who was married to John Tiffin, her sister? Other family member would be on great interest to me. I can help you with any Tiffin family members.

Surnames: Tiffin, Butler
I have Elizabeth (Butler) Tiffin as my 3-g grandmother. I am descended from her son, Thomas O. Tiffin. I looked but really have nothing about her parents or her siblings.

There is a line in the 1852 Agricultural census, where an Elizabeth Butler is listed as the owner of 50 acres of land on Concession 12 in Dawn Township of Lambton County. I thought it was unusual that all the other names on the census were men and I wondered why it was listed under her name. If the Elizabeth listed in the census were a widow, that might explain it. It is possible that our Elizabeth's mother's name was Elizabeth, but I cannot prove it.

For Elizabeth and Thomas Tiffin's children, I have years of birth and death for Thomas O., Paney, Elizabeth, and John Butler Tiffin. I have a year of birth for Sarah. I have names but very little other information for Anna, Jane, Martin, Mary, Thomas, and William.

Any other information you might be able to pass along would be welcome.
