Hi Cathy!

I am responding to your e-mail not because, unfortunately, I have information
on Merel Tidball but because there are so few Tidballs out there these days
that I just had to respond and say "hello."

My husband's mother is a Tidball descended from Lewis Cass Tidball (b. June 25,
1849 in Zanesville, OH). Lewis moved west and settled in Sheridan, WY with
his wife Jane Elizabeth Kelly and had four boys: Lewis, Volney, Morris and
Benjamin. My husband's mother (Louise) is Lewis Cass Tidball II's daughter.

Anyway, good luck with your Tidball search. Where are you located? I know
of some Tidballs in South Dakota and, of course, my husband's mother's family
(now in Washington and Oregon), but, as far as know, the family is not very
numerous or wide-spread. Take care!

Good Morning, Barbara!

How exciting to hear from you about the Tidball Family
History! Do you think you could e-mail me directly with
your own e-mail address? I would then be able to send
you what I know about my husband's branch of the Tidball
family for your efforts at expanding the family history.
In addition, I would love to obtain a copy of the entire
history that you've been working on and would consider
myself fortunate to pay for the privilege.

Thanks so much for responding to this message board!
I can't wait to hear from you!

I have Great Great Grandfather named Joseph Tidball. I am told he was a doctore in Eureka Springs, Ar. Born 1825, died 1906, wife's name Annie E.

One of their children was Mary Katherine born in Illinois in 1855, she married Marion Mead Boyd. They lived in the Rogers, AR area.

Joseph is as far back as I have. Is there any information to link my family with yours?
