I am looking for information about Samuel and Benedicta Ticehurst who came to Australia in 1838 with children Thomas 9, Samuel 7, Benedicta 5, William 3 and Thomas (babe who died on voyage). Supposedly they are from Sussex but I am having great difficulty finding any records from there.
William is my GGGGrandfather.
Any help for tracing the Sussex connection?
