Ken,

We are related at the point of Ebenezer. I am a descendant of his son Thaddeus.

Hello Brian, ore should I say cousin. I am researching Ebenizer's wife's surname my theory her name was Arnold a relative of Benedict. But I have no proof as yet. I think it is odd they did not record her surname and parents.Any luck at earlier Tibbals discendancy? Have great day, Ken Congrove

I show the Surname listed as Wilcox. I believe I found that from the Mormons, but you never know the accuracy there.

I have just discovered that a Charles Tibboles married one of my relatives, Mary Jane Westacott in Cardiff, Wales in the first quarter of 1875 (FreeBMD - Cardiff 11a 357), where his name is given as Charles Tibbols. The couple moved to Ohio, where they are listed in the 1880 U.S. census as Tibbals. By the 1900 census they are listed as Tibboles, and the family seems to have kept this spelling in the next three censuses.

I have found a number of candidates for Charles in the 1861 and 1871 U.K. censuses and the FreeBMD births (he was born around 1850 according to the 1880 U.S. census, but there are two many variant spellings to nail him down.
