William Gillette Tibbals lived in Conn during the mid 1880s. He was married to Matilda Botsford, 8-23-1813 8-4-1856. He was the son of Samuel Tibbals and Betsy Gillette Gardner. His son, Henry Elliot Tibbals b 12-28-1859in Monroe Conn.,was my husband's great grandfather. Hope this is the righ William.

Sorry, no photo. If he's the right William, I have his geneology all the way to the original Thomas Tibbals who settled Milford Ct. William was my husband's gr gr grandfather. My mother was also a Tibbals, and I'm looking for the missing link. I'm stuck on my gr gr grandfather, Lewis Tibbals, who lived in Rochester, Michigan in the early 1800's. If you run across him, please let me know.

Jan--Thanks for the info on Lewis Tibbals. The timing is right. He was deeded land in Mich. in 1926. If he also had a son named Albert (my great grandfather), this could be the link. Does anybody know?
