David Tibball and Mary (Marie) Tibball

Surnames: Tibball, Jessen
I am researching my family history, and I have run into a woman in some photographs, who could well be Mary (Marie) Tibball. Her connection with my family (Jessen in the USA) is that her nephew Mads Peter Jessen, who immigrated into the USA on 10 June 1905, in the immigration records stated that he was going to live with "my aunt Marie Tibball, 76 Park Avenue, Brooklyn, NY". I have searched for Marie, who originated in Denmark, on Ancestry and have found a Mary Tibball, born in Denmark 1873, who was married to a David Tibball, born in NY 1861, and who had a son in his first marriage, Harry born in NY 1885. The record in the 1900 census furthermore shows that Marie immigrated from Denmark in 1890. I am sure that I have found the right Marie, since a younger brother of her nephew Mads Peter is baptized Arthur David Tibball Jessen in 1900. But I would like to know what happened to Marie after the 1900 census, as I cannot seem to find her in the Ancestry register. Can anyone help? Any hints and/or assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Walt

Thank you so much - I'll get started on the hints you've just given me. That's very helpful. Best of luck to you also in your research - I'm Danish myself, so if you get stuck language-wise, give me a shout and I'll help out if I can.

Best,
Lisbet

hi lisbet
sincerly hope u can learn more.in brief,my danish ancestor is a brick wall with surname wilson.my fredk.wilson's parents are louis wilson, lower manhattan,ny and his wife cornelia from norway.in the 1880 household is cornelia's mother, pauline olstin but this spelling does not appear to be correct.fredk's death cert.has his mother as cornelia olson but frderick's siblings have johnson.had to give it up and be happy for what i have.louis's naturalization just says subject of king of denmark.
well, lots of luck and nice to meet you...walt
