I think I'm getting somewhere!
My great grandfather Thomas Thyn(n)e was born in Miltown Co Clare abt 1844. He married Margaret Gannon (of Tuam Co Galway b 1847)at St Alipius Church in Ballarat in 1868.
They went on to have Michael Patrick Annie Mary Margaret Thomas John Catherine Bartholomew (my grandfather) and Bridget.
Thomas died at Mt Egerton in 1923

Hi Kerryn,
My mother, Margaret McCormack (nee Thynne), previously made some contact with you. I now have her "papers" from her research (she is no longer able to continue). I have been working along at this whole Ancestry thing, and have recently been joined in the endeavour by my sister Chris Owen. You can contact me at ktnolan@bigpond.net.au
Cheers,
Katherine

Hi Keryn,

i am in victoria australia and am also researching the Thynne family from county clare. My husbands family are in victoria around melton bacchus marsh, before that sydney and before that AJ THYNNE from Queensland fame.

Any help you could give me or vice versa would be great, i would like to get the connected family tree into a printed works.
