Hi Gill,
I do have some info on Thomas Thwaite but not much. He was born around 1814 in Mossdalehead, married to Eden Metcalf December 15th 1831 and had 10 children.I've been able to do Eden's line but I'm still stuck on Thomas. Do you know when he died, who was his father and mother?
You can email me at gyankus@comcast.net.
Thanks,
George

Hi Carol,
I am researching for a Jane Thwaite born approx. 1773, don't know where. She married a John Swidenbank and they were married in Grayrigg Parish Church. I have a dead end with Jane, and wondered if you "might" have any information on parents?? Thanks so much

Was wondering if you knew of anyone with the name John or Donald Thwaites who would of been born in 1946 who resides in England somewhere. My mom found out about a brother she didn't know she had and has very little info. Dad was Canadian and mom was from England. We believe her name to be Mary. He was born in 1946. But have little info beyond that do you have any ideas on how to look for him or know of him. Thank you for your help

Dear Carol. I have just seen this post for the first time. Thomas and SArah Greenwood are my gggrandparents. Thomas is Walters brother. Walter is

I am wondering if this is the side of the family my gran talked about - the ones who went to America. Kind regards Chris
