I'm not sure how this sort of thing is usually done, since it makes a very long message to post, but to make a long story short, I've been a stay-at-home for the last few days with a bad cold, so I decided to do a lot of on-line searching to see what I could find out about Delilah Thrift.

Delilah was a daughter of Isham Thrift of NC, whose parents are still a mystery. She married John H. Petty and they moved to Tennessee, where the line almost died out. They had one son, but the son had kids, and the kids had kids, and the family is now flourishing. Here is the line for about four generations. After that you get into too many living people.
