I am looking for info on Emaline Thrift,my great great grandmother. All I know is that she married Joseph B. White and they had a son named Jacob L. who was born in Guilford County NC in 1884. Hmmm -- my great-great-grandmother was Lydia Thrift Bare, second wife of Isaac Bare, who moved from Preble Co Ohio to Huntington Co Indiana shortly after being married to his first wife, Elizabeth Robertson, in 1843. She was born in Guilford Co, NC in 1839. I'm not sure of her father--either Green or William Thrift (the latter looks like he's her grandfather in some records). Hi Jenny, My name is kathy and I too am researching this line. Jacob married Clara Forst, she was born 18 Sept. 1885and died in 1912. clara and Jacob are my mothers grandparents and joseph and emaline were her great grandparents. the children of Jacob and Clara are Pauline White,Peerman, Ledbetter, b.2 Oct 1907 ( she was adopted from another family member on the Forst side). Kenneth White, b.1906 and Glenn W. White b21 April 1909 ( my moms dad) Glenn married Marietta Bruch.If you have any further info on Joseph and or Emaline I would be very greatful.
