In my direct family line there are Thraps in Perry Co. OH, but I am unable to connect them to your Levi Daniel. The information I have is further back, the first date I can see in Perry Co is in 1844. If I can help you with any of this, email me: gvp775@aol.com.

I haven't found Levi in my family history, but since he was in Perry Co. Ohio he undoubtedly is arelative, and probably in there somewhere. The first Thrap of my line born in America was Robert Thrap, born in Baltimore Co. Maryland in 1728. Robert and his children moved to Ohio, Licking, Muskingum, and Perry Co's. My greatgrandfather, Jacob Thrap came to Humboldt Co in Northern CA in 1870. Our family has resided here ever since. My granddad was Levi Edward Thrap. I might add I have a grandson Jacob Thrap and a grandson Levi Thrap. I notice cousin Georgia Page has posted on your site. Her grandmother Mabvel was my grandfather's sister. I just did a quick lookthrough of my Descendants of Robert Thrap and don't see Levi Daniel, but he may be there. By the way, the two p's means nothing. The family has used one or two since the second generation. Some of Robert's sons used two, some one. Though most of my branch uses one, greatuncle George used two, and greaduncle Hiram occasionally did. I have cousins in Texas who use two. When I discovered this I found many more relatives. I hope to get response to this message.

Hi Wanda
Just got home from a week in San Francisco. Will go through the Robert Thrap tree tomorrow. I know there are several Hanna Thraps. I am a graduate of HSU, as is my wife. Actually it was College then, many years ago. We are retired school teachers living in Eureka. Will get back to you later when I find the right Wanda.

I'm not sure yet, I just got my server back up to access/reply to my mail. I live 40 minutes from SF, and I am a school teacher of first grade! I have no info on Hannah's siblings or parents. The info I do have came from my grandmother, (now deceased) her granddaughter, and family documents.
