I am looking for the family of Robert Thompson born in Ohio in 1924. He was probably born in Belmont County where his parents were married in Bridgeport in 1924. His father was William Howard Thompson (born in TN) and his mother was Edna Romaine Smith (born in WV). Edna was the daughter of Wesley M Smith and Emma Sheets.

By 1930, the family was living in Delta County, Colorado and by 1935 they were in Carbon County, Utah. On the 1940 census, they are living in Price (Carbon Co.), Utah.

I found William on the 1942 WWII draft registrations. He listed his address as Portland, Oregon. I can find no reference to any of the family after this time. William is the brother of my great-grandfather, Samuel Charles Thompson. Their parents were James Buchanan Thompson and Mary Ann Smith of Dove, Marion County, Tennessee.
