Mike, I am at a brick wall for thirteen years now on finding my gg-gf James M. Thompson( b. @ 1925) from Cherokee Co. GA. Is this in your line? His son, James Marion Thompson (my gr-gf b 1854) was born in Cherokee Co and his wife's name was Louvenia Watson Thompson (b 1854). They died in Whitfield Co GA and are buried at Grove Level Cemetery - Dalton. Their children were: James, Lon, George, Mary, Minnie, Sallie Belle, Martha, Fannie, Roanie and Alice.
