My grandmother's half-sister, Gertrude (Atwood) THOMAS passed away without any children in the late 1950s. Her husband, Reuben THOMAS passed away shortly thereafter, their belongings going to Reuben's daughter. There was a very ornate family album of Gertrude's, which several of my family members recall seeing, that had a velvet cover. At the time, my family tried to obtain the album, but to no avail. The album is mostly of the ATWOOD and RYAN families, and would be a treasure for us to locate. The family lived in Seymour, CT. Gertrude's parents were John ATWOOD and Mary RYAN.
