My 2nd great aunt, Gertrude "Vadie" Williams (born between 1850-1865ish) , is the daughter of Edmund Hugh and Charlotte Louisa "Eliza" Muchmore Williams of the Seguin, Guadalupe, Texas area (also known to live in Wood County for a short time).

All family records indicate that Gertrude married Louis Till, has a son named Hugh and she is buried in Cherry Springs, Gillespie County, Texas. I've never had any luck finding this family in any records anywhere. I decided to look into Gillespie County and found that the THIELE family was very prominent.

I have found a Louis Thiele, born 1861, son of Heinrich Henry Thiele(?) on some family trees here. No more information is added about Louis but he would be the right age for Gertrude.

Do you think I should pursue this Louis Thiele as "Louis Till"? Does anyone have any ideas that might help me search this further?

If you look on this photo I've attached, you'll see pretty much all the information I had to go with to start this search. I don't know anything about "Dog Town" that is referenced on this picture. Any clues??
