I saw your message on the internet and as you can see, I'm also one of the "Thibaut-clan" .I live in Belgium but my ancesters are from France. It should be a 150 years ago that one of my ancesters came to Belgium.I just started a research about my family but I don't have a lot of links. I do have a link to a Monsieur Thibaut who was born around 1850. He was a Priest who had a mother from France and a Belgian father. Maybe that is the person you are looking fore. I don't know for sure that he is one of my ancesters but it definitally can be so.
I hope you can find what you are looking for.
Best regards

Sylvia

I am also a member of the THIBAUT-clan, but I live in Chile. My father and grandfather were named like me, Jorge. Last I know is that my granfather brothers were named Juan, Tataro and Rachel (I dont know if Tataro was a real name or a nickname). Well, I am still searching, hope to hear from you. Bye.

I have some updated information on past information...
My notes from my mother say George Thibaut, born in 1859 in France.
His occupation was fine wines. George's wife was killed in an accident where she fell off of a balcony and was killed.
I know you had mentioned Mary F. was buried in Noble County, IN - I wondered if you knew a way for me to do some research in this area to try to see if I can make a connection. I am wondering if I have a conflicting first name for George - could this be Jacob A. that you speak of? Thoughts? Thank you so much for your time.

I wonder if you could tell me more about this person --
I have a name of George or Richard - born in 1859 in France. He was married but lost his wife in an accident where she fell off of the balcony. His profession was supposed to be fine wines. Have any ideas? Have you found any more information?

Surnames: Thibaut Urizar
Hi. I have found that my grand-grand-perent was Esteban Thibaut Urizar, and he maybe had a brother named Pedro. Not sure if they were born in Chile and their fathers were french or if they were french themselves. Some other member of the family told me that maybe Pedro Thibaut came from Grennoble, France at the end of 19 century. So, if you have information about some Thibaut Urizar family or some Thibaut family coming to Chili, just let me know. Thanks. Jorge.
