J. Alphonse Deveau's book, "The Thibaults of Nova Scotia",starts with the first Louis Thibault to arrive in Nova Scotia about 1720 and lists 6 or 7 generations of descendants. The book has errors and gaps which the author readily acknowledges could exist, but with any other research usually done you can figure out where those errors are. A great deal of his book deals with my own ancestors although I did find where he left out my gr-grandfather. My copy was obtained I think from the author. I transcribed his work with corrections into my computer and listed it at:
http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&d.... So an actual copy of the book is no longer necessary to access all that info. Just an update to bring this topic up again. (Richard Thibeau)
