Re: Henry J. Thibault (1871-1937) Clayton, NY
I write about boat builders. Henry Thibault built a boat in 1927 that I am currently researching and want to learn more about his boat building activities in Clayton, NY. Any help will be appreciated.

I have genealogical info on Henry, his wife Helene and his children but I am not able to give you anything about his boat building. Sounds like an interesting project.

Thank you for your reply. In your quest for information on Henry, is there anyone you might recommend who would know about his work as a boat builder? One of his boats built in 1926-1927 was an award winner in the 2009 Clayton Antique Boat Show and is still owned by the same family that originally commissioned him to build it. It is my understanding that Henry's son Robert worked for the Wright family of Grindstone Island until the 1940s. I would like to learn more. Anthony Mollica

Anthony B Thibault and Mary Louise Foley were my great grandparents. John O was Anthony's brother. Joseph Thibault and Harriet Bertrand were my great great grandparents.

Looking for a good e-mail address for someone who might have info about the Thibault reunions that they hold in Clayton.

I think we are related. My great grandfather was Anthony Benjamin Thibault (dob 1850 dod 1893) of Clayton.
His parents were Joseph Thibault and Harriet Bertrand Thibault also.
John O and Anthony were brothers.
