I didn't know there were two churches in Long Melford. The only one I have been to is at the top of a hill/slope before you reach Melford Hall. I really need to have another look when I next visit my mum as she lives in Long Melford. Its such a lovely village.

I will be looking at the link to the Theobald list archives later today after work, and I knew about the builders but not looked at the website. which I will also do.
