I am still looking for Mancil Thacker's family. I have a new e-mail address and I have moved from Texas to Colorado. Mancil Thacker was born in Michie, Tennessee and lived in Tennessee, Missouri, Arkansas, Mississippi and Oregon. He died in Savanna, Tenn. in 1977. I am his daughter and I have a twin brother. So far, I have found a brother and a sister and I am sure there are more as he had several wives over the years. Any info will be appreciated.

Thank you for your reply. I have just moved and I have a list of Thackers that I need to unpack. I do recognize the name Dwight Thacker. I would love to correspond with you thru e-mail. Did you make the Thacker reunion on the third Saturday in July. I believe it was held in Stantonville. I have found a brother that lives in Selmer. His name is Manuel Thacker and I believe he is in the phone book and would love to visit with you. I will write more later when I find my list.

My father's name was Dwight L. Thacker, he and my mother divorced when I was five I'm now 57, I saw him very little after the divorce, but am now doing a family tree and need info on my father's family. Do you know of my father or his family?

Mancil Thacker's father, John M. Thacker was my grandmother's brother. My grandmother is Jennie C. Thacker Nix. I am sure you have more info than I do about him. Just thought you would like to know there is another limb to the family tree. Good luck on your searches.
