I have his birth certificate. Interested in E-mailing anyone who has info. on this man or his descentants.

Hello

I am originally from Spain. My family has lived in Madrid for several generations. We are the only people with that surname in the Madrid or Barcelona phone books. We thought we were the only ones in Spain, but there seem to be loads in America.

At one stage, about five generations ago, some Texidor mixed with an English lady.

Cynthia, I am researching my husband's family who is a Texidor descendant on his father's side. My husband's grandmother, Tesoro Vergne Texidor, always told a story of a great-great uncle (or something like that) who was a famous Caribbean pirate named Pirata Cofresi - do you think this might be the same person (or related) to Manual Texidor, your ancestor? There is a huge branch of the Texidor family, descendants from Spain whose direct ancestors come from Guayama or Ponce, Puerto Rico.

My great great grandfather was Francisco Santiago Rojas y Texidor. He was born in Manati P.R. I haven't been able to find out much about his parents yet. But I am hopeful. It is so incredible to think we could be related. That is a great hint that the family came from Catalonia, Espana.

Hello Texidors!

I was looking for my family ancestors Tort in Catalunya, Spain. I have found that a man called Damia Tort married Maria Teixidor or Texidor at San Vicente, Tossa del Mar, Gerona, Catalunya on 4 Jun 1791.

Do you know something about them? I´ll thanks any information in order to know their parents names, siblings or children, if they arrived to American Continent or any other thing useful to know something else about them.

Greetings

Viviana Tort
