Hi, Maria Texidor Brown, my name is Tim, I'm the youngest of five. We were all born in N.Y.. My fathers name is Louis(Papi) as everyone called him. My mothers name was Amalia(Margie). You made a comment that I found very weird and that was of my parents always telling me as I was growing up that all the Texidors that I would meet in my life time would related. I don't truely know if we're related, but my grandmothers name was abuela Mita, and my grandfathers name was abuelo Pito. If any of these names may sound familar to you, you can e-mail me. Later Timothy Texidor.

I am working on my family tree. I can only go as far as my great-grandparents and all I know is their names. Enriqueta Texidor and Manuel Pizzaro from Ponce, Puerto Rico. My grandfather is Pascual Texidor born 10/23/1897 in Ponce Puerto Rico. My grandmother Aurora Nazario. I don't know if they had any brothers or sisters. Do you?

We are probably related

My family also made me aware that all Texidors
are related. My family is from Ponce PR also.
We lived on Calle A1, Barriada Bardorioti in Ponce.
I went to school while there at Esquela Lessie
Graham. At around 7 years old, I went to NY with
my whole family.

My father (Eulalio Texidor) and mother (Carmen
Figuero) are both from Guayama. I am aware that
my father was from a big family, but I don't have
any details yet.

I am a professional jazz musician, and my website is
http://www.igs.net/~jtexidor

I will be happy to know if anyone sees a family connection.

Dear Joseph,
I am glad to see that we might actually have a connection. My grandparents Pascual Texidor and Aurora Nazario are both from Guayama. They eloped to Ponce where they got married and had 8 children, my father being the youngest. I am currently working on my family tree. Think you can help?

Waiting for a hopeful response,
Nydia Texidor

Nydia, I am researching my husband's family, all of whom still live in Puerto Rico. His great-grandmother was Clementina Texidor, also from Guayama. Her parents were Arturo Texidor and Isabel Vazquez. Clementina was born 11/23/1887. Do you know how she or her father might be related to your father? I am waiting for geneological information from one of my husband's great-aunts, a daughter of Clementina. She might name your father as an uncle or cousin. Let me know if you want more info once I get it.

Dear Alexandra,
I'm glad to see that you are interested in the Texidor family history. I don't know the names that you gave me but I will definetly ask my oldest aunt and see if maybe there is a connection because this also helps me. I didn't know how hard it will be to work on the family tree. Hope to get back to you soon.

Your friend,
Nydia Texidor

You have Texidor family here in Hawaii, the are descendants of Texidor's that arrived here in the early 1900's to work in the plantations. According to Ralph Texidor there ancestors came from Guayama, P.R. I know several of them such as Ralph Texidor, Tolo Texidor and Manuel Texidor (deceased).
