I live in the Bronx now but I am also a Texeira too also interested in the last name as well. My father is originally from Ponce Pr too and we still have family over there. It's pretty cool that there are more Texeira's out there from Pr.

HI'
My name is Eduardo Texeira, I was born in Ponce, raised in NYC and presently live in Anthem Aizona. I still maintain a home in Ponce and go there yearly. I would like to hear from all the Texeiras as I want to research and put together a history of the Texeiras. I am also looking for a nephew I have not met, his name is David Texeira Jr. I believe he was born in Brooklyn, NY in the mid 1970's any help would be of great help.

Hey, My name is CHENOA TEXEIRA. I'm 17. I was born and raised in Hawaii and currently still live here. Don't know much about the texeira history but I do know this: Texeira is portugese
Most of the Texeiras in the United States can be found in Hawaii due too the fact that in the 1800s nearly or maybe more then thousands of portugese people migrated here to hawaii. Even the Hawaiian famous instrument also known as the Ukulele is originally from the portugese. It was given as a gift to the hawaiian people when they migrated here. Over 40% of Texeiras in the untite states are posted up here in hawaii.
