I believe that you are a descendant of my great grandmother's sister. My great grandmother was Eliza Sullivan, daughter of Henry Sullivan and Frances Texada. After the death of Henry Sullivan and perhaps Frances Texada. some of their children moved to Australia, where their uncle was established. My g-grandmother remained in Louisiana to marry my g-grandfather. I believe one other sister may have remained hin Louisiana, also, to marry. Eliza's sister, Frances married a McCord in Australia. I have a clipping of the wedding announcement that was kept in Eliza Sullivan's Family Bible. If you are interested, contact me at

I had not heard of the possible relationship of Don Manuel to Queen Isabella. Fill me in.

re: Frances Texada and Henry Sullivan and believe I have some information regarding James 22, Olivia 17, and Margerite 12 Sullivan who were children of the abovementioned. Olivia married a GGreat uncle in 1871 in Victoria Australia, and I'm currently researching the line to present. I would be interested in knowing a little of the family history prior to their arrival in Australia in 1867.

Look forward to hearing from you .. Julie Moriarty / Sydney Australia

Since I originally posted my message, I've learned my great grandparent's name: Henry Clay Sullivan who married Georgia Texada (Sullivan). They had several children - some of them are: Lolly, Gretchen Lillian (my grandmother), Elise and John. I believe the name you have listed as Jams is James. I'm not familiar with the name Alabla. Hopes this helps.
