Hi Kim, I'm a member of the Tew family, as my grandmother was a Tew. She was from south Alabama. If you can give me some information on your ancestors, (names, along with other family members) I might have some information that will help you. I have the family history on the Tews, going back to North Carolina in the 1700's.
Talk to you soon, Jimmy

I don't know if we have communicated or not. I am the granddaughter of Burley Tew, s. of Isaac J, son of Hezekiah, son of Wallace, son of John - NC. Hezekiah raised his family in South Alabama (Eufaula-Clayton) and married his cousin, Sint Tilly (Cintella) Tew (daug of Alan Tew - sister of Peter Francis Tew). They lived in Barbour/Henry Co., AL. I am going to England next year and would like to be able to explore on that end. I'm told John (daniel, robert, john-Halifax NC?) came to America in the late 1600's. Any help?

Not really sure but thank you for the information. It's been so long since I've done anything with my family tree that I don't remember where I left off. Thanks again for the info and if anyone else has anything to add please don't hesitate to respond.

Hi, James. I am looking for information on James Quitman Tew. He married Ella Arrons Tew and they had at least 3 children, Durwood, Rayford, and Dorothy. Dorothy, we have found out, is my aunt's biological grandmother. She had a son, Spurgeon Steen, who was adopted by Samuel & Carrie Steen. Any information you can share would be great! May God bless you for your efforts. Sincerely, Regina
