I am searching for the parents and siblings for Susannah TEVIS that died in Madison Co., KY in 1819. She married Robert RAYBURN born about 1763 in Augusta Co., VA; died 1-1806 in Madison Co., KY;
I have the following notes on Robert RAYBURN;
He doubtless was a soldier in the Revolutionary War.
Page 51 - " Robert Reburn first appears on the Madison County, Kentucky tax lists in 1789, assessed with one white male over 21 and one horse.
In 1791 he was the owner of two horses." SOURCE: Chronicles of the Scoth-Irish Settlement in Virginia, Vol III, pg 186: Walker vs Reyburn's executors - O.S. 241; N.S. 65 John Walker bought land in 1798 from Robert Reyburn of Kentucky, son of John Reyburn of Augusta (VA). Robert Reyburn is dead leaving viz: John, William, Robert, James, Polly, Betsy, Susan, Rebecca and Sally.

I Robert Rabourn of the County of Madison and State of Kentucky being very sick and weak or Imperfect in body but of perfect mind and memory thanks be given to God, call in unto mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it is appointed once for all men to die do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament that is to say principally and first of all, I give and recommend my Soul into the hands of Almighty God that gave it and my body to the earth in a decent and Christian burial at the descretion of my Executors not doughting but at the general Resurrection I shall receive the same again by the might power of God and as touching such worldly Estate wherewith it has pleased God to bless me in this life, I give devise and dispose of the Same in the following manner and form. First, I give and bequeath to Susannah my dearly beloved wife all the property Real and personal while she Remaining Widow, but if she should marry to have nothing but a horse, Saddle, Cow and her bed, of such as she pleases to take and that property or the value thereof to be divided among the children after her death as the rest, and my two sons John Rabourn and William Rabourn to convey my land that I hold in Augusta County Virginia to John Walker when he Shall make the paiment agreeable to the Contract, and that every thing real and personal all to equally Divided among my children John Rabourn, William Rabourn, Polly Igo, Elizabeth Rabourn, Susanna Rabourn, Polly Rabourn, Peggy Rabourn, Rebecah Rabourn, Jail(y) Rabourn and Mary Rabourn and fourth that as the Children should marry and leave her to give them such things as She can conveniently Spare and keep in account of the property as the value thereof. As Witness whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and affixed my seal this 27th day of December 1805. Page 53 - "Susannah Rayburn did not remarry and Robert Rayburn's estate was not divided among the children until after her death in 1819.....The 1810 census enumerated Susannah Rayburn with one male aged 10-16; one male 25-45; three females under 10; three females aged 10-16; and one female aged 26-45."
Page 54 - Susannah Rayburn died in 1819 and her appraisal was filed on 3 May 1819..."
Susannah TEVIS and Robert RAYBURN are my ggggrandparents.

My great,great grandfather was Madison (matt) Tevis also from Madison county,ky. He was born in 1825 and was married to Hannah Bennett and around 8-9 children. I'm not sure when Matt died, but Hannah died in 1917 in Richmond,ky.
