Tessier, died at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. Boudet [
Beaudette], of Mendota, on Monday and was buried at
Calvary cemetery on Wednesday morning, the funeral taking place from the residence of another daughter, Mrs. E. Niquette, of E. 11th street. The deceased was the father of Gilbert
Tessier, of W. Fairfield avenue, and had many friends on the west side. His was an honorable life and he dies at a ripe old age mourned by a large circle of friends.

Minnesota- Mrs. Elizabeth
Tessier died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. A. J. Beaudette, Mendota, on Monday, from the effects of a fall two weeks ago and the excessive heat. She was born at St. Martin, Canada [Quebec], in 1824, was married to Michael
Tessier in 1842, and settled in Mendota in 1883, where her husband died a year ago. There are thirteen children, fifty-nine grand children, and forty-two great grand children. The funeral was held from St. Louis Church, St. Paul, on Thursday, at nine a.m., with interment in
Calvary Cemetery.
