W.P Terry, Grandson of Revolutionary War General, Dies Saturday
William P. Terry, 82, died at 5
p.m., Saturday, Jan. 5, 1946 at his
home, Winter's Lane, Montours-
ville, R.D. 3.
He was the grandson of Mrs.
Mathious Jones Terry and Gen-
eral Terry, of the Revolutionary
War.
A lifelong resident of this vicin-
ity, he was the former employe of
the Crandall, Bennett, Porter
Company, Montoursville.
He leaves the following chil-
dren: Edmund A., John W., Clar-
ence, Adda Mae, of Montoursville:
Hazel I. Terry, of Watsontown
R.D. : Jerry B, of Mill Creek
Township and Crandall, of Appa-
lachian, N.Y., and 13 grandchil-
ren, two of whome are in the
armed forces.
Sevices will be conducted from
the funeral home at 733 Broad
Street, Montoursville, at 10:30
a.m.Tuesday, with the Rev. T. M

Church there, officiating. Burial
will be in Edgewood Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral
home between 7 and 9 o'clock this
evening.
