DoD Identifies Army Casualties
The Department of Defense announced today the deaths of two soldiers who were supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom. They died of injuries sustained on Nov. 10 in Al Khalidiyah, Iraq, where their M1A1 Abrams tank was attacked by enemy forces using small arms fire.
Killed were:
Sgt. Joshua A. Terando, 27, of Morris, Ill., who died in Al Taqaddum, Iraq. Terando was a Reservist assigned to the Army National Guard's 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 28th Infantry Division, Washington, Pa.
