While I was stationed with the US Army in Germany (1962-1965) I was able to findout that the name TEOFILAK was mentioned in Varkaus, Finland in the early 1700s. I also have a family crest with that name from Finland.

My father and grandparents emigrated from Poland in the early 1900. My cousin Joanne has visited the family farm, which is still in operation, in Poland. I will get the name of the village from her.

I leave in New Jersey, USA - where do you live?

Regards, Len
