GREAT to have a response!
Stennack is so tiny that common surnames mean we must be connected.
I will follow up on the OPC site you list.
I have several documents you might be interested in:
- image of the 1841 census showing Elizabeth in the household of William (copper miner in Stennack) and Charity TEMBY, along with Grace TEMBY, age 70, probably William's mother.
- hard copies of the marriage record for Elizabeth TEMBY and Thomas EVA on 29 Jan 1844, and birth record of their daughter Jane EVA (b 4 Feb 1844 - draw your own conclusions).
- image of the 1851 census of the William TEMBY household (now farmer in Troon) that now includes his mother-in-law, Mary DENNIS
- image of 1861 census with Charity as a widow, farmer in Troon.
- image of 1861 census for Thomas (copper miner in Troon) and Elizabeth EVA and seven children, including Charity (b abt 1855), my great-grandmother, and her sister Mary who married brothers and migrated to Montana in the late 1870s.
