I am helping someone find more information on their Family line. I have a Certified Copy of an Entry of Birth from the Registration District of Liskeard sub-district of Callington in the County of Cornwall. Born the 26th of June 1899 at Pensilva, St. Ive was a girl Myrtle Maria Temby, daughter of Alfred Temby and Amelia Jane Temby formerly Jeffery. The certificate shows fathers occupation as a Tin Miner. Any help on additional names or lines connected to this would be helpful and appreciated.

Two of Alfred's brothers are buried in the Pensilva cemetery and there is a photo of that headstone found at the Lynher Parishes site at http://www.lynherparishes.co.uk

This website also has census transcriptions for St Ive which include Alfred and his family.

Hello. I just happened to see this post while searching for information about my great-grandfather, Alfred Temby. Myrtle was my grandmother on my mother's side and to the best of my knowledge lived for a time in Great Falls, then Butte, Montana. I knew her mother, my great-grandmother, Amelia only briefly, as I was a small boy when she died. Myrtle married Maurice Cowell who's family came from Libby, Montana, but the apparently divorced when my mother was very small, in the early 30s. Myrtle died in early 1957. Please let me know if I can provide any additional information.
