Hi,

Just want to let you know that I have recently started a community forum for all persons with the Tejeda surname. It is called: "The Tejeda Family Forum" at www.mixingonbeat.com/tejeda/

I am also hoping to gather all the scattered Tejeda family groups and finally learn about each other's descendants. Please join us.

@Sybil, thank you for providing the information of your Great Grandfather Luis Tejeda (wife: Guadalupe Lavina Mitchell).

I took the liberty to append this information to the Family Tree I am building at www.familytejeda.com

I wanted to ask if the list is accurate? Meaning did they have a total of 12 children?

@mycortinas,

Can you rearrange your family list you posted above? It was a bit confusing, and you totally lost me when you stated two parents for Maria Garza and Maria Olivares Garza. And then you mentioned Andres' father, but you never said who was Andres? Unless there is another post here that you listed them, please let me know.

I am creating a Tejeda Family Tree at: www.familytejeda.com

I know this reply is extremely late to an old post but I am hopeful you still get on here and will read this.

My name is Yvette Pena. I am the granddaughter of Guadalupe Tejeda Pena and Benito Pena. My father, Anthony Pena, was adopted by them and it has been my mission to learn more about this side of my family. I hope we can connect since we clearly have something in common here!

In the late 1950s and early 1960s I had a friend Fedias Tejeda from The dominican Republic. He lived in California. I have often wondered what happened to him.
