Looking for descendants of William Tefteller and Sarah "Sally" Bray. Sally was born abt 1874 in DeKalb Co. Al. and she and Wm. Tefteller were married Jan. 11, 1891 in DeKalb Co. Al. They had at least two children, son named Pete and a daughter, Alta. The family had ties to Rising Fawn, Ga. and came back there to visit from "Texarcana" (probably Arkansas) while the children were still young. Please email me if you know anything about these people. I'm researching the Bray line and have information I'll be glad to share. Linda

Linda: William Tefteller was the brother of my grandfather, Irvin Tefteller and they were the sons of James Tefteller. I have a couple of pictures of Uncle Bill and Aunt Sally plus a younger couple with no name on the back of the picture. The younger man is on crutches and is the husband of the young woman. There is a picture of several children with an explanation that the kids were in their every day clothes. I don't know their names. My dad received the pictures a long time ago, probably in the '40's from his cousin and I think that her name was Alta. If you have any info into this family, would love to share what I have on the Tefteller line. Thanks, Lorene Eubanks

Alta was the daughter of Wm. and Sally. Sally's father John Bray was a brother to my g grandfather, William Carroll Bray. Sally's sister Annie Guinn is buried here in Rising Fawn, GA. If you could scan the photographs and email them to me, that would be great. I have had a really hard time connecting all these people, but finally broke my brick wall and can give any of Wm.'s and Sally's descendants a lot of their lineage. I appreciate your willingness to share. Linda
