Hello Christiee_30,
Thank you for your reply, as it did help to uncover some 20th century indexes that may pertain to your Teed and related ancestors.
Based on the information you provided, I found the marriage index for Robert G. Teed and Esther Burns. It seems that your great grandfather may have gone by the first name of George, hence the G in the marriage index, but records show he was Robert George Teed, and that initially threw me off.
In any case the index for Robert and Esther was found at the FreeBMD website at:
http://www.freebmd.org.uk/The index shows the couple’s marriage recorded in the Windsor Registration District for the December quarter of 1925:
Marriage December Quarter 1925
Name: Burns Esther
Spouse's Surname: Teed

Spouse's Maiden Name: Burne

The above pertains to a civil marriage index. Today, civil records of birth, marriage, and death are held by the General Register Office (GRO) in Southport. You can order the marriage record for Robert G. Teed and Esther Burns from the GRO website at:
https://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/default.aspThe marriage record can be found in Volume 2c, Page 1194 of the GRO registers.
The GRO website will guide through the ordering process and will also include the fees associated with ordering birth, marriage, and death records.
The marriage record from the GRO will provide important information to continue looking for your Teed ancestors. For instance, it was traditional for marriage records from this time period to record the names of the fathers of the groom and bride. I have never ordered a marriage record from the GRO for the 1930s and am not sure if marriages from this time period also included the name of the mothers of the groom and bride. 19th and early 20th century civil marriage indexes do not traditionally provide the names of the mothers of the groom and bride. If you find out the names of Robert and Esther’s fathers, I can then see if I can find Robert and Esther and their respective families in the 1911 census, and then maybe even locate more information about the Teed and Burns before 1911.
Next I found the birth index for the person I believe to be your grandfather, Bernard Teed. This index, also from the FreeBMD website, gives his full name of Bernard R.G. Teed. His birth was recorded in the Marylebone Registration District for the September quarter of 1928, and can be found in Volume 1a, Page 597 of the GRO registers:

The same year that Bernard was born, his parents Robert and Esther can be found in the St. Pancras London, Electoral Registers, living in an address of 43 Princess Road. This information comes from Ancestry.com. I’ve transcribed the electoral roll entry below:

I didn’t find Robert George Teed in any of the electoral registers following 1928. But I did locate what I believe may his death index at the FreeBMD website. You had stated in your first posting to the Ancestry.com message boards that George Teed died when Bernard was 4 years old in 1932.
The index below shows the death of a Robert Teed recorded in the St George Hanover Square Registration District for the June quarter of 1932. He was 39 when he died, placing his year of birth circa 1893. His death record can be found in Volume 1a, Page 504 of the GRO registers:

If you order Robert Teed’s death record from the GRO, see who is listed as the informant to the death, that is, the name of the person who reported the death to the local registrar. The informant may have been Robert’s wife Esther, or another family member.
Based on the death index above, the following may be the birth index for your Robert George Teed. The index shows his birth recorded in the St. Thomas (Devonshire) Registration District for the March quarter of 1893. His birth record can be found in Volume 5b, Page 30 of the GRO registers:

Robert’s birth record from the GRO will include such information as the exact date of birth, place of birth, the names of his father and mother, including his mother’s maiden name, as well as his father’s occupation.
Moving back to the 20th century, I found Esther Teed in the electoral registers for the years 1933-1936. In all these registers her address is 78 Delancey Street, London. These were found at Ancestry.com:

The next search involved looking for Esther Teed’s death index at the FreeBMD website, but I didn’t find. It could be the volunteers at FreeBMD have not transcribed her death record to date. But indications are that Esther may have actually married again, as I found the marriage index for an Esther Teed and a Frederick W. F. Brown, at the FreeBMD website, showing their marriage recorded in the Windsor Registration District for the September quarter of 1944. The marriage can be found in Volume 2c, Page 1331 of the GRO registers:
Marriages September Quarter 1944
Name: Brown Frederick W F
Spouse's Maiden Name: Teed
Name: Teed Esther
Spouse's Surname: Brown
District Where Registered: Windsor

Page of Register: 1331
____
If you order the marriage record for Frederick and Esther, see if Esther is recorded as “Teed formerly Burns,” as that would be proof that this Esther Teed was Bernard Teed’s mother.
Speaking of Bernard, I also found his marriage index at FreeBMD, showing he married Eileen M. Brown(e). The index shows the marriage recorded in the Maidenhead (Berkshire) Registration District for the December quarter of 1953. Their marriage can be found in Volume 6a, Page 52 of the GRO registers:

____
I am wondering if Eileen Brown was related to the Frederick W. F. Brown who married Esther Teed in 1944.
I then found the birth index for a Julia Teed whose mother’s maiden name was Brown. Is this your father’s sister?
The index shows that Julia’s birth was recorded in the Eton (Buckinghamshire) Registration District for the December quarter of 1954. Julia’s birth record can be found in Volume 6a, Page 473 of the GRO registers.

I didn’t find your father’s birth index at the FreeBMD website, but did locate what I believe may be his birth index at Ancestry.com.
The index shows that the birth of Philip R. Teed was recorded in the Eton Registration District for the June quarter of 1962. His birth record can be found in Volume 6a, Page 811 of the GRO registers:

I also found what the marriage index for your father and mother at Ancestry.com, as well as your own birth index, and birth index for your sister, but have not included them here for privacy reasons.
CONCLUSION
Before ordering any birth, marriage, or death records from the GRO in Southport, I recommend that you access the same indexes that I did from the FreeBMD website, to see if you agree that these records pertain to the Teeds in your direct line.
If you confirm that the marriage index for Robert G. Teed and Esther Burns pertains to your great grandparents, order it from the GRO, as the marriage record will likely include the names of their fathers, and their fathers’ occupations. If you find out the names of their fathers and their father’s occupations, please let me know, and I’ll look for the Teeds and Browns in the 1911 and 1901 census enumerations, as well as census enumeration for the 19th century. From census returns I may be able to locate other birth, marriage and death indexes or records for the Teeds and Browns, that is, if these records have been placed online to date.
Also, if you believe the 1893 birth index for Robert George Teed is your great grandfather, order his birth record from the GRO, as his birth record will provide you with the name of his father as well as the first an maiden names of his mother. With this information I may be able to find out more information about him and his parents.
Best Wishes,
Dave
