Re: Tee surname, South Africa
I recently have discovered that an Ingrid Toft, of Port Elizabeth, married into the Tee family. I am interested in making contact with my Toft relatives. My grandfather's brother, Øve Lindved Toft, emigrated to Port Elizabeth from Norway before 1900.

Re: Tee surname, South Africa
Hi Arnold
Where did the South African Tees come from in the UK?
I'm researching the Tees in Hampshire, England, and would be interested to find out if any of them ended up in South Africa. My direct descendant is John Tee, born in Havant in 1789, later on the Isle of Wight.

Re: Tee surname, South Africa
Good day
I have read your post, posted on ancestry.com, from a while back!, and here's hoping you can assist me!
My name is Cheryl Pettersen Goldblatt, and I now live in Cape Town.
A number of our immediate family are now deceased, and I hope I'm not clutching at straws!, but I believe from my Mother and somewhere along the line, we are also descended from the TEE family, who arrived as British Settlers, but for the life of me can find no other information to substantiate whether we are'part' of this family.
My great grandmother was a Wasserfall, whose mother might have been a TEE and married a Wasserfall, but unsure of that.
Any information you may have would be most appreciated.
Kind regards Cheryl Goldblatt
