The line begins well before Daniel and Foushee. The first Daniel was the important one. The key is this entry: WD 3-112, 12/4/1702, 12/30/1702. Robert Carter appoints Daniel Tebbs, Gent. agent for collections, atty in fact also in WD 3-383. The Carter was Robert "King" Carter of Corrattoman, agent for the Northern Neck Proprietary. Son William land bought from Samuel Earle, Presley Cox and “a part of Thomas” the line to be from the head of a branch below my orchard and in straight line to a white oak on the edge of Sam Rust’s old field formerly a corner to Thomas and Earle and all of the land I bought from Charles Eskridge and Courtney Mill; son Daniel land gets the other part of my land and “the Church Mill”, subject to wife’s right to be taken out of Daniel’s part; daus. Mary and Elizabeth negroes; wife Elizabeth. Full power in executor to make deeds for Prince William land I sold to John Garner. Garner deceased before the deed was recorded and it “relapsed”. South side Broad Run. Samuel Rust and Philip Ludwell Lee executors.
