I am searching for someone who is directly descended from either William Swaim TEAGUE (b. 24 Nov. 1834 Warren Cty, TN - d. 2 July 1922 Moody, McLennan Cty, TX) or Isaac H. TEAGUE (b. 1836 Henderson Cty, TN - d. unknown - most say in Civil War).

Is there a direct MALE descendant out there who has had their DNA tested for the TEAGUE line?

I am a g-g-granddaughter of William Swaim Teague; through his eldest son William Albert Teague, to his daughter Myrtle Amanda Teague Roe, to her daughter Dora Belle Roe Quinn to me.

I am hoping that at least one person out there who descends from either William or Isaac has had their DNA tested to help us all in trying to determine if we really do connect to the "other" Teagues who were in TN, NC, SC, GA, TX, AR. This test would go a very long way in helping everyone out!
