JOHN TEACHMAN
Farmington, Apr. 8---This vicinity was saddened by the death of John Teachman, which occurred at his home Thursday, March 27. He was a son of David and Olive Weeks Teachman and married Miss Mary Bacon of Charleston. To them were born two sons, Charles, who died April 4, 1913, and Walter, who survives. His wife died in February, 1915. Mr. Teachman was loved and respected by both old and young. He was always so jolly and his pleasant face pleasing manners will be greatly missed from all social gatherings. Funeral services were held at Pleasant Valley church March 29. Rev. Mr. Benjamin officiating; burial in the Pleasant Valley cemetery. Old time neighbors of the deceased were pallbearers: Messrs, Fred and Frank VanDusen, James Gleason, Will Clark, of Osceola, and Ezra Gleason of Knoxville.
