Jacob S Teach, son of Peter Teach Betsy Elizabeth Rush, of Franklin Co PA, to Fulton Co IL in 1853. Jacob Teach's wife Catherine Barnhart also has a surname TENNIS. If anyone else has this couple as ancestors, it'd be great to hear from you.

Hi, Beth:
Do you have any info. on a Jacob Martin Teach, born (7/24?)1839 in Pennsylvania? I got a reply from someone on the Teach family message board from someone who says that Jacob Teach was the child of Mathias Teach and Maria Elliot Teach. He married Rebecca Snyder in 1860 in Seneca Cty., Ohio. They later moved to Iowa, then to Calif. If there is a connection to Teach in Illinois I don't know what it is - siblings, cousins? If you have any info., I'd be grateful for a reply. Thanks!
