Shelly,
I responded to another thread. You lineage is the same as mine but I diverge at John A. Teabo's son. John A. (or E.) was definitely born in 1828 per our family bible. My direct ancestor is William Edward Tebo. The spelling changed for him and John A. (or E.) with William's generation. William's son, Elmer Edward moved to Baltimore later on as well. My father has some pictures of the houses they lived in. I had visited my grandmother in Baltimore when I was very, very young. My father visited often when he was going to school at John's Hopkins.
I believe that my branch moved to Maryland after your branch. We are direct relatives, no doubt about it!
We are also of the same generation, as my father was also born in 1936. I was born in 1965 in Baltimore. I wonder if our relatives had contact? It seems that your branch stayed with the Teabo spelling and mine went to the Tebo spelling. Interestingly enough, either Thomas or James went with the Tebow spelling, I believe, later on and moved to eastern Virginia. I believe this branch to be the ancestors of Tim Tebow as the Tebow spelling is highly unusual per my correspondence with the Thibault society based in Canada. By the way, we seem to be the unexplained branch of Thibault/Tebo/Teabo/Teboe. I am still trying to get John's father and mother's names and birth places. I think this would help with the rest of the lineage as the Thibault society has quite an extensive website.

Look forward to hearing from you!
